The parties married in 1992. Deborah filed a complaint in divorce in May 2021. The court ordered an equitable distribution hearing before a hearing officer. Following the hearing, the officer issued a Report and Recommendation. Deborah filed exceptions to the Report and Recommendation, and the trial court held a hearing. On November 21, 2023, the court entered a Memorandum and Order denying Deborah's exceptions. It also entered a divorce decree, ordered equitable distribution, and ordered Deborah to pay Harvey $5,000 in attorneys' fees, as recommended by the hearing officer.
