Nuris Jean-Baptiste, individually and as next friend of Christopher Jean-Baptiste, a minor, sued PSCH, Inc. and Ayaovi Nassafon auto negligence and respondeat superior theories claiming that Nassaf's failure to exercise due care in the operation the 2006 Ford Econoline Suburban resulted in an accident on the Van Wyck Expressway service road on November 2, 2007 that injured Christopher. The Econoline rolled over during the accident. Christopher's seat belt was not secured at the time of the accident.
Outcome:
Plaintiff's verdict for $5 million.
