Kingston, New York criminal defense lawyer represented former New York trooper charged with murder, manslaughter and other crimes.



Christopher Baldner, age 52, was accused of causing the death of a 11-year-old girl who was a passenger in an SUV in a high-speed chase that resulting in a crash.



On December 2, 2020, Baldner stopped a Dodge Journey driven by Tristin Goods for speeding.



Good and Baldner got into a confrontation, and Goods sped away and was chased by Baldner, who eventually rammed Goods vehicle killing the child passenger.
Outcome:
The Defendant was found not guilty on seven of the eight charges against him but the jury failed to reach a verdict on the manslaughter charge.
