Kingston, New York criminal defense lawyer is representing Stephen P. Miller, who is charged with second-degree manslaughter and two assault counts for helping Doreen Brodhead end her own life on November 8, 2023 by nitrogen asphyxiation.
Ms. Brodhead, age 59, suffered from chronic pain which prevented working and severely impaired her ability to engage in the activities of daily living.
Miller, a former doctor, age 85, traveled to Kingston from Tucson as Broadhead's request and expense to help her kill herself.
Outcome:
Miller will most certainly be found guilty. It is not clear to what extent he will be punished.
