Mr. Ogden has extensive trial and appellate experience in a wide range of commercial litigation, with a recent concentration in communications, employment, media and energy law. Mr. Ogden has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of First Amendment law for over 25 years, from 1991 to the present. Mr. Ogden is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the Defense Counsel Section of the Media Law Resource Center, the Texas Association of Civil Trial and Appellate Specialists, an Advisory Director of the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas, and a past recipient of that Foundation's James Madison Award. Mr. Ogden served as a Director of the State Bar of Texas for District 4, Position 2 from 2008 through 2011. He serves as a Trustee of the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society, and is on the Board of Directors of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics. He has served as a director of Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program, a member and past chairman of the Houston Bar Association's Law and Media Committee, and has been twice recognized with the HBA's President's Award.

Mr. Ogden was formerly a trial partner with Liddell, Sapp, Zivley, Hill & LaBoon (now known as Locke Lord, LLP) in Houston, Texas.
