Katherine L. Farrow sued the City of Oklahoma City on a wrongful termination theory claiming to have been a long term employee of the City of Oklahoma City before August 9, 2011. She further claimed that she was wrongfully terminated from employment contrary to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA); the Age Discrimination Act of 1967 and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
Plaintiff filed an EEOC charge against the City of Oklahoma. Plaintiff and Defendant participated in a mediation on October 18, 2011 before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that result in a recommended settlement of $41,900.00 for the Plaintiff, inclusive of all claims presented or that could have been presented, costs, attorney fees and any other relief.
