Burlington, Vermont, criminal defense lawyer represented the Defendant charged with selling drugs.



On September 30, 2025, at approximately 10:30 AM, the Burlington Police Department's Drug Unit, Emergency Response Unit, and members of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) conducted a coordinated operation in City Hall Park. This operation was part of an ongoing drug investigation focused on suspected activity in the park, during which multiple controlled purchases of drugs have been made by the police since late August of 2025.



During the operation, officers arrested Aaron Badeau (35 YOA) of Burlington in City Hall Park. Badeau was found in possession of a felony amount of suspected "crack” cocaine which was packaged in gram and fractional gram quantities. Following his arrest, law enforcement executed a Vermont State search warrant at a residence Badeau was utilizing within Decker Towers as part of his illicit drug operation. Investigators seized additional quantities of illegal drugs from the residence.



This case highlights the continued efforts of the Burlington Police Department and our Federal partners toward addressing drug-related crime in our community.
