Galveston, Texas - The State of Texas charged David Wieseckel, age 41, with four counts of child abuse for locking his son in a plywood box.



Defendant claimed that he had to confine is son to protect himself and his wife from his son who threatened to kill him.



When the way in which Defendant tried to control his son, he was arrested and his son was placed in foster care.



The boy's stepmother was also charged but the charges may now be dismissed.
