Allentown, PA - Man Gets Life In Prison For Slitting Teen Girlfriend's Mother's Throat



The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania charged Army Spc. Caleb Barnes with first-degree murder for slitting his 14-year-old girlfriend's mother's (Cheryl Silvonek) throat because she objected to his relationship with her daughter.



Jamie Silvonek was also charged and convicted and is serving 35 years to life in prison for her part in her mother's death.



Outcome:
The Defendant was found guilty and will be sentenced to life in prison.
