The Commonwealth alleged that Defendant robbed the Wawa Store at 911 Union Boulevard in Allentown on August 15, 2013. Evidence at trial revealed that a man entered the store with the lower part of his face covered and demanded money. A clerk handed over $500. Defendant was caught running from the scene.
Defendant asserted an insanity defense. He produced evidence that he suffered from "dissociative disorder" with the result that his mind breaks from reality.
