United Sates of America v. Howard Raymond Gimmey

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, criminal defense lawyer represented the Defendant charged with making a threat against the President of the United States.

On May 5, 2026, HOWARD RAYMOND GIMMEY, 46, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, posted “I’m going to kill the President…” on a social media website. Gimmey knowingly and willfully made the communication and did so with recklessness as to whether it would be viewed as a true threat of violence against the President of the United States.

If found guilty, Gimmey faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

This case is the result of an investigation by FBI Oklahoma City’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, the United States Secret Service, and the Midwest City Police Department.
