The unsealed indictment alleges that in October 2019, Bruner attempted to rob or burglarize an individual. While doing so, 22-year-old Benjamin Montgomery was killed.
Since 2019, the Tulsa Police Department has worked diligently investigating the case. Court records show that two additional non-Indian defendants are charged in State Court for first-degree felony murder of Mr. Montgomery..
