Description:

Breach of Contract - Plaintiff and Defendant entered into a land contract. Defendant was obligated to pay a total of $36,500, including $1,000 upon signing the contract, $2,000 before a date certain, and additional monthly installments over a five (5)year period. Defendant made said down payments, but according to plaintiff, abandoned the property which under the terms of the contract was a breach, which acted as a default.

Outcome:

Plaintiff and defendant reached a settlement resulting defendant's default. Settlement to plaintiff in the amount of $4,584.00.
