Description:
Negligence claim by golf course guest who was hit in the eye by a golf ball hit by another guest at the Pines Country Club in Harrisonville, Missouri. Angel Stephens took Juan Lopez to the course in an effort to recruit him to work for her company to play golf even though he was not a golfer and had no experience. Without giving him any instructions, his tee shot from the first hole hit Georgia Schaper in the head. She was 60 to 70 yards from the hole when she was hit by the ball. She sustained an eye injury with resulting permanent partial loss of vision and a scar.
