Description:

Tennant who rented property on Madeline Island, Wisconsin fell into Lake Superior when the boards on the dock on the property failed under his weight. He sustained a torn rotator cuff which ultimately required two surgeries. He claimed that the owners of the property and their agent were negligent in renting the property to him in an unsafe condition. The defendants blamed the plaintiff for his injuries and damages.
