Urbana, Illinois criminal defense lawyer represented defendant charged with attempted murder.



The State of Illinois charged Christopher Torry, age 23, with attempted murder for attacking a couple in the Kenwood Road Apartments that defendant shared with his former girlfriend.



The former girlfriend was in bed with another man with whom she had just had sex when defendant barged into the room and attached them.



The man was stabbed with a steak knife by Defendant.



Defense counsel admitted stabbing the man but denied that he intended to kill him.
Outcome:
Defendant was found guilty and faces 30 years in prison.
