More than one woman who was raped by Torrey Scott in the campus of Savannah State University claimed that they University and Real Estate Ventures, LLC were at fault and liable for failing to provide real or meaningful security for on campus housing.
Scott was charged and convicted of raping two SSU students and kidnapping and raping a third woman taken from the parking lot of an area hospital. He was also charged and convicted or raping and murdering Lisa Pynn in 2014.
