Description:
Natalie Freeman sued Continental Motors on a products liability theory claiming an aircraft engine manufactured and sold by Continental installed in an airplane that crashed in in 2008. Plaintiff claimed that a faulty crankshaft split apart as her husband flew a single-engine Beechcraft 36 in December 2008. Evan Freeman took off from Chicago Midway International Airport on December 18, 2008 and headed for Bowman Field Airport in Louisville, Kentucky. He report engine trouble and unsuccessfully tried to land on a Louisville golf course.
