Description: Defamation. Channel 6 in Oklahoma City ran a series of news stories concerning the Plaintiff. These stories essentally accussed the Plaintiff of being a horse killer. The Plaintiff alleged damage to his reputation and loss of business. The Plainitff also alleged that the Defendants acted intentionally and with mailce in running these stories.

Outcome: Plaintiff's verdict awarding $6,000,000 in actual damages and $500,000 in punitive damages.
