Description:
The Defendant was charged by way of information with one count of lewd molestation and two counts of first degree rape. The Defendant's niece accused him him of fondling and raping her on various dates between August 2004 and July 4, 2004. She disclosed these events to her mother in September 2004. Along with the alleged victim, her mother, her older brother, her psychotherapist and a pediatrician from "The Justice Center" in Tulsa testified on her behalf.A neighbor, family friend, the defendant's stepson and his two sons testified for the defense regarding the July 4th, 2004 incident. The Defendant did not testify.
Outcome: Not Guilty on all counts.
