Tulsa, OK - The United States of America charged Redex Lester, Jr. with manslaughter in Indian Country for driving while intoxicated (three times the legal limit) with resulting death of a passenger in his 2001 GMC Sierra when it collided with another vehicle.

This case was filed in the Northern District of Oklahoma because Lester is a member of the Cherokee Nation and the accident occurred inside the boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Outcome: The charges set forth in the Indictment are merely accusations and do not constitute proof of guilt. Every defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty.
