Joshua Druid Bryan, 29, and Regan Emily Bryan, 30, sought to hire a hit man to murder their stepfather in order to obtain life insurance proceeds.

The Bureau of ATF investigated the case.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kevin J. Payne and Matthew Allen prosecuted the case.

U.S. Attorney Todd W. Gee of the Southern District of Mississippi and Special Agent in Charge Joshua Jackson of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) made the announcement.

The Bureau of ATF investigated the case.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kevin J. Payne and Matthew Allen prosecuted the case.

Outcome:

Defendants were found guilty and

Regan Emily Bryan was sentenced to 65 months in prison.

Joshua Druid Bryan was sentenced to 120 months in prison.
