Jason Malos, age 38, participated in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl. Malos’s communications implicating him in the conspiracy were obtained through court-authorized interceptions of his communications. A search warrant of his residence revealed further evidence of his participation in the conspiracy, including several firearms.
Assistant United States Attorney Brendan T. Conway prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
United States Attorney Chung commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Monroeville Police Department, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, and the Allegheny County Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Malos.
