Description:
Golden, Colorado criminal defense lawyer represented the Defendant charged with sexually assaulting a child.



In the summer of 2016, the then-eight-year-old victim reported to her mother that Countryman had touched her underneath her underwear and put his finger in her. The victim also disclosed other instances of touching. The victim's mother took the victim to a hospital, where she underwent a forensic examination. Countryman's DNA was not found on the victim's genitals or her underwear.





Outcome:
The defendant was found guilty and was sentenced to eight years to life.
