United States of America v. Wayne Chester Lawton

Cheyenne, WY - Wayne Chester Lawton, 69, of Worland, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on April 13, 2017, for possession of child pornography. Lawton was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. He received 70 months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment. Restitution will be determined at a later date. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children, the Washakie County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
