On July 3, 2025, law enforcement officers were executing a search warrant at a residence in Green River on an unrelated investigation when they encountered Cameron Justin Agree, age 31, who had an active arrest warrant. As officers approached his vehicle, Agee reversed into an unmarked state vehicle before fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed. During the pursuit, Agee threw two loaded .22-caliber pistols from his vehicle near the intersection of Indian Hills Drive and Shoshone Road before returning to the original location and surrendering to law enforcement. One of the firearms had been reported stolen. Agee is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a 2017 Wyoming burglary conviction and multiple felony convictions in Utah.
Outcome:
The Defendant agreed to plead guilty and was sentenced to 42 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.
