Mr. Seybert is a member of the firm’s litigation and worker’s compensation practice groups. He has experience in employment law, civil litigation, premise liability, workers’ compensation, insurance defense, intellectual property, and general corporate law.
In July, Mr. Seybert received his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. The PHR certification demonstrates mastery of the technical and operational aspects of HR practices and U.S. laws and regulations. Prior to joining Baylor Evnen, Mr. Seybert worked as a legal intern at the Hyatt Corporation in Chicago, Illinois, where he gained valuable legal experience and a greater understanding of employment, corporate and real estate law. Before his legal internship, Mr. Seybert worked as the Operations Manager at the Hyatt Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With his past work experience, current employment law expertise and now further certification in Human Resources, Mr. Seybert is able to provide real-world application of forward-thinking HR principles to clients with employment law issues.
He is a member of the Robert Van Pelt American Inns of Court, which is comprised of a select group of judges, attorneys, and law students working to promote professionalism, civility, and ethics.
Mr. Seybert received his Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2012 where he received a CALI Award for Excellence in Employee Benefits, Mediation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He received his Masters in Business Administration degree with high honors from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received his undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University, summa cum laude, with a major in government.
