D. Renée Baggett is a partner with the law firm of Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis & Overholtz, PLLC. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of West Florida and her law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2006.

Ms. Baggett has nearly two decades of experience working on complex pharmaceutical and medical device cases, beginning her career in 1993 as a paralegal working on such complex litigations as In Re: Silicon Gel Breast Implants Products Liability Litigation (MDL 926) and In Re: Diet Drugs Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1203). She first joined the firm in 2001 as a paralegal to Bryan F. Aylstock and Justin G. Witkin and assisted with complex product liability cases against high profile defendants throughout the United States before entering Law School to pursue her Juris Doctorate.

Ms. Baggett rejoined the firm as an Associate Attorney in 2006. Since that time, she has represented injured parties in motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, and complex pharmaceutical and medical device product liability cases. She has worked as an attorney in numerous mass tort litigations including In Re: Prempro Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1507), In Re: Avandia Marketing Sales Practices And Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1871), In Re: Vioxx Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1657), In Re: Viagra Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1724), In Re: Baycol Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1431), In Re: Seroquel Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1769), In Re: Zicam Cold Remedy Marketing & Sales Practices Litigation (MDL 2096), and In Re: Levaquin Products Liability Litigation (MDL 1943), where she had the honor of being appointed to various organizational and discovery committees. Over the course of her legal career, Ms. Baggett has helped bring successful resolution to more than 15,000 injured people, and in the process earned the respect and admiration of members of the judiciary, her colleagues, and clients across Escambia County.

Member of American Association of JusticeDuring law school, Ms. Baggett was a student practitioner for the Loyola Law Clinic where she assisted the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s office with judicially appointed cases. During her Law Clinic experience, Ms. Baggett appeared before Louisiana courts and assisted with criminal background searches and legal research. Also as part of Ms. Baggett’s Law Clinic experience, she participated in the Hurricane Katrina Advice Law Clinic.

In addition, Ms. Baggett was a member of the Loyola Chapter Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) where she served as a board member and competed in the 2005 Alabama Young Lawyers Competition in Birmingham.

Ms. Baggett is a member of the American Association for Justice; the Florida Bar; the Foster Care Justice Alliance; the Northwest Chapter, Florida Association for Women Lawyers; and the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association. She is currently licensed to practice law before Florida state courts as well as the Federal Courts in the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
