He represents companies, owners and outside investors in business transactions, contractual matters, entity formations and restructurings, venture capital and private equity financings, project finance transactions, joint ventures, technology acquisitions, technology licenses, business governance and public offerings. He also represents venture capital and private equity firms in fund formations, portfolio company investments and exits. Mark was formerly a partner with one of the largest law firms in America. He has a long history in the representation of technology companies and manufacturing companies and previously served as general counsel to a public company venture capital fund. Mr. Mohler holds a B.A, Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws in Taxation degrees from the University of Florida.
Mr. Mohler works closely with his clients in setting strategic direction and structuring mission-critical business transactions. He is a frequent speaker on topics related to venture capital, corporate finance and business legal issues. He has acted in a multitude of roles in companies beyond outside legal counsel—including as a member of boards of directors in both executive and independent roles. Mr. Mohler was a co-founding entrepreneur of a venture and private equity-backed multi-national company and is a serial entrepreneur.
Mr. Mohler has acted as a legal advisor to companies with respect to subsidiaries, project operations and joint ventures in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Central and South America, Africa and Australia. He has extensive experience advising boards of directors and investors with respect to fiduciary matters, conflicts of interest and corporate governance issues and handling business disputes involving such issues. |
