In 1999, she graduated Cum Laude from The American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., where she served as Business and Development Editor for the American University International Law Review and as an advocate with American University's distinguished International Human Rights Law Clinic. Ms. Esteban-Trinidad was admitted to practice in the State of Nevada in 1999. She is admitted to practice before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (2001).

Ms. Esteban-Trinidad is an active Pro Bono volunteer with Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada (LACSN). She is a member of the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys (SNAWA), the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and is a Barrister with The Howard D. McKibben American Inn of Court in Nevada.
