Lance is particularly active in newly sanctioned sport of Mixed Martial Arts, appearing before the state agency responsible for the oversight and regulation of MMA, and consulting with trainers, managers and fighters around New England. Following his graduation with honors from the University of Maine School of Law, where he was a Distinguished Moot Court Board Member, Trial Team Member and Legal Writing Instructor, Lance clerked for one year with the Maine Superior Court prior to joining Norman Hanson & DeTroy. He had previously served as a summer Law Clerk for Justices Dana and Saufley of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
