Kris Frye manages the Ford & Nichols Social Security Disability practice. Kris also accepts representation related to small businesses, wills and estates, and contracts. He has experience representing individuals and businesses in civil litigation relating to contract disputes, personal injury, and probate. Kris grew up in Maryville, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in Political Science. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2011. While in law school, Kris participated in the Business Clinic assisting small business and non-profits with legal issues related to incorporation. He also served as a member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. Before joining Ford & Nichols in 2014, Kris was in private practice in Knoxville representing individuals and businesses in civil litigation. Kris is licensed to practice in Tennessee state courts, the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for Eastern Tennessee, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
