Henninger “Hank” Bullock is an experienced litigator who counsels clients in the financial services and the pharmaceutical sectors. He has handled dozens of complex disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country, at both the trial and appellate levels. In 2011, Hank was named a Law360 “Rising Star,” earning a spot on its list of five product liability attorneys under 40 to watch.
Financial clients such as major commercial and investment banks, broker-dealers and commodity trading firms rely on Hank to defend them in lawsuits, government regulatory proceedings and internal investigations involving securities, commodities, derivatives and foreign exchange products. His representation encompasses customary disputes over regulated financial products, as well as highly sophisticated and unregulated structured finance-and-derivative transactions. Hank has been particularly successful in defending financial institutions and their officers and directors in claims of fraud or misrepresentation associated with the trading of complex financial assets.
For pharmaceutical clients, Hank provides defense against all types of product liability claims. He has acted as national defense counsel for a major brand-name pharmaceutical company in a number of lawsuits involving alleged injuries from prescription medication, frequently resolving them on summary judgment or motions to dismiss.
In addition, Hank represents clients from various business sectors in complex contract and tort matters.
Hank joined Mayer Brown's New York office in 2001 and became a partner in 2009.
