Additional Information:  David T. Hermanson is a native of western North Dakota. He was born in Williston, North Dakota, and returned to Williston after graduating from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1999. From 1999 to October of 2012, David was a member of the McKennett Law Firm located in Williston. David is experienced in various areas of the law. The most constant part of David's practice has been real estate, including oil and gas. David primarily represents land and mineral owners. David was already representing land and mineral owners in western North Dakota when the oil exploration increased, eventually turning into one of the largest oil and gas exploration efforts in United States history.

David's work includes real estate title research and issue resolution for both surface and mineral estates; oil and gas exploration contract/lease review, including surface land use related to oil and gas exploration; pipeline agreements; gravel and scoria mining agreements; easements; real estate zoning laws; and real estate title litigation.

David has been a presenter of oil and gas issues to attorneys, land professionals, and mineral and/or surface acre owners on multiple occasions. He has been an active member of the Williston community, including serving on various boards and being a member of various clubs and organizations.

David is licensed to practice in the states of North Dakota and Montana, including the Federal Courts in both states, and is also licensed to appear before the United States Supreme Court.

David is married to Valeska Hermanson, another member of Vogel Law Firm, and they have two sons.
