DAVID S. DESSEN is the Managing Partner of Dessen, Moses & Sheinoff. He attended Marietta College and the Temple University School of Law, where he obtained a JD and a Masters of Law degree in Trial Advocacy. He was admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1973. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the United States District Courts for the Eastern,Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, Mr. Dessen is a member of the American Prepaid Legal Services Institute and a former member of its Board of Directors. He is a member of the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA) and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA). Mr. Dessen is also a member of the International Association of Commercial Collectors, Inc. In 2004 in an independent survey,Mr. Dessen was recognized as a "pennsylvania Super Lawyer" a distinction bestowed on only 5% of the lawyers practicing in Pennsylvania. Mr. Dessen has lectured extensively throughout the country on various topics, ranging from insurance to the delivery of legal services to large groups. He acts as a consultant for attorneys and law firms that are servicing prepaid and group legal plans, as well as a consultant for unions and other groups that are interested in organizing such plans. He maintains a practice in Complex Civil Litigation, Commercial and Retail Collections, and Personal Injury at the firm's Willow Grove, Pennsylvania office.
