Patrick M. O’Neill, Esq., was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Kettering, Ohio. He has practiced law for more than 17 years. He is a graduate of Ohio University (B.A., 1987) and the University of Dayton School of Law (J.D., 1993). While in law school, Patrick was a member of the National Moot Court Team. Prior to beginning his legal career, Patrick worked as a project coordinator for a national commercial contractor.

Patrick is a partner in the litigation department, and concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law, construction arbitration and mediation, mechanics’ lien law, prevailing wage law, and trial and appellate practice.

Patrick regularly represents homebuilders, commercial contractors and developers both locally and throughout the United States. He is a frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education seminars on construction - related topics.

Patrick is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court, and is a member of the Cincinnati, Ohio State and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry, Division 1, Dispute Avoidance and Resolution, Division 7, Bonds, Liens and Insurance Section of Litigation and Committee for Construction Law.
