Mark Meierhenry is a nationally recognized trial attorney. Mark was born and raised in Gregory, SD . He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Dakota in 1966 and his J.D. in 1970, also from USD. He served as the Director of South Dakota Legal Services and as an adjunct professor of Trial Practice and Indian Law before becoming South Dakota’s Attorney General in 1979. While serving as Attorney General Mr. Meierhenry argued before the United States Supreme Court on behalf of South Dakota six times. He held the position until 1986. In 1987 he joined the Danforth Law Firm in Sioux Falls. Since that time Mr. Meierhenry has become a leading civil trial attorney representing clients in all areas. Mr. Meierhenry is also a co-author of an acclaimed series of children’s books.
