Expertise:  O’Hern Traffic Accident Consultants, Inc. (OTAC) was founded in 1995 by Traffic Crash Specialist Michael E. O’Hern. He has been a full time police officer for nearly 18 years and is a supervisor of his departments major crash unit. Michael O’Hern has received over 750 hours of training specific to the field of traffic crash investigation and reconstruction. He is also instructor of the accident investigation courses at Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. OTAC started out as a one person operation. As a result of our professionalism, experience, dedication and attention to detail, our customers have provided us with the ability to expand to more than 10 employees and associates. Our State Certified Reconstruction Specialists have had hundreds of hours of training and numerous years of experience handling and investigating traffic crashes. Since 1995, our Specialists have provided the expertise of analyzing and reconstructing traffic crashes for the purpose of criminal and civil litigation in over 550 cases. Several years ago, OTAC expanded it’s services to include 3D animations. Since that time, these demonstrative animations have been successfully used in both criminal and civil litigation.
