Description: Fredericksburg, VA - The Commonwealth of Virginia charged Charles Henry Lewis, IV, age 26, with unlawful wounding, shooting in an occupied dwelling and wounding in the commission of felony.
The Commonwealth claimed that Lewis found a photograph of his girlfriend and mother of his children, Lolita Slaughter, having sex with another man while he was in jail. He responded by holding her hostage at gunpoint and threatening her. He contacted with Antonio G. Perkins and told him about the situation. When Perkins showed up at the woman's home, Lewis shot him.
Outcome: Defendant was found guilty with a recommendation that he be sentenced to 6 years in prison.
