Description: Oakland, CA - Wells Fargo Settles Class Action Claims for $50 Million

Two Hundred Fifty Thousand homeowners who had loans serviced by Wells Fargo sued it on civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act theories claiming that it wrongfully marked up charges for informal estimates of the value of their homes.

Outcome: Settled for $50 million. After reimbursement of fees and costs, the Plaintiffs will be paid $120.00.
