Steve is creative and hardworking, and is passionate about representing his clients. <P> Steve learned eminent domain the old fashioned way, by apprenticing for 17 years with legendary eminent domain lawyer Fred Lange. He has worked on many large eminent domain projects, planning, coordinating and supervising the acquisition of easements for pipelines, roads, utilities, communications and light rail lines. He has tried dozens of cases, and argued many cases on appeal to the Texas Supreme Court, Texas Courts of Appeal and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. <P> He enjoys working for both condemnors, who build important facilities that benefit our citizens, and property owners, who are entitled to challenge the right to condemn and entitled to receive just compensation for their property.
