Additional Information: Sharla Frost serves as lead trial counsel for corporate clients in a variety of contexts, ranging from multi-plaintiff products liability cases to individualized business dispute matters. With more than 40 trials and many defense verdicts to her name, she has a particular ability to represent clients in challenging jurisdictions throughout the United States. Ms. Frost brings strategic guidance and courtroom experience to the benefit of her clients and the profession. She is licensed in five states and admitted to practice before numerous federal courts. She has been admitted as trial counsel by pro hac vice in California, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Washington. From the earliest years of her career, Ms. Frost has sat first chair in complex, multi-party products liability trials, including the largest all issues asbestos trial ever tried in state court. She has served as arbitration counsel in post-bankruptcy claims processes; trial counsel for the parent company in a 524(g) asbestos bankruptcy proceeding; trial counsel in numerous asbestos matters; trial counsel in commercial litigation disputes; and, mediator for a contested asbestos litigation matter. She defended her clients to defense verdicts in nine separate asbestos cases, including a living mesothelioma case, during the past decade. In 2011, Ms. Frost served as the President of Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society that includes less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. She is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Active in both the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) and the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), she has served as a a member of the NAWL Subcommittee for the Evaluation of Supreme Court Nominees for each of the nominations over the past five years. Active in the DRI, she currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Liaison Committee between DRI and DRI Europe, as well as the liaison with NAMWOLF on behalf of the DRI Women in the Courtroom Committee. She has been named a Texas Super Lawyer for each year since 2005 by Texas Lawyer Magazine.
