Additional Information: Michael Landrum is a native Houstonian. He is a graduate of Memorial High, The University of St. Thomas and The University of Texas School of Law. Michael has been a licensed Texas attorney for 35 years. He enjoys the highest ratings for legal proficiency and ethics. Michael holds certifications as a legal specialist from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the fields of Civil Trail Law (since 1989) and Civil Appellate Law (since 1995). He is a lecturer in continuing legal education seminars and is dedicated to the improvement of his profession. Michael has tried hundreds of cases before state and federal trial courts and has appeared in scores of cases before state and federal appellate courts. In his practice, he has primarily represented businesses and business people in a great variety of civil matters. From 1996 through 2010, Michael served as Tax Master for the Civil District Courts of Harris County. As the appointee of our district judges, he was responsible for literally tens of thousands of delinquent ad valorem tax suits, and established a reputation among the bench and bar of Harris County for scholarship, hard work and efficient case management. Michael has been a member of the American Arbitration Panel of Neutrals for commercial and construction arbitration matters since 1990, and has served as an arbitrator for FINRA Dispute Resolution since 2005. Thorough these affiliations, Michael has decided hundreds of disputes, large and small, in binding arbitration.
