Michael is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame where he graduated, with honors, earning a Bachelors of Arts as a triple major in Economics, Sociology and Computer Applications in 2001. Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2004 where he was awarded an Advocacy Certificate, and was one of four recipients of the school's Leadership and Service awards. A participant and coach of Loyola's Vis Moot Arbitration team, Michael participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria. During law school, Michael worked for the City of Chicago - Department of Law, Building and Land Use Division, earning a 711 license and prosecuting the city's building code in Chicago's Department of Administrative Hearings and Circuit Court. Michael is a member and former Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, Young Republicans of Allen County, and is a Board Member of the Notre Dame Club of Ft. Wayne. He is a volunteer with the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre and Miss Indiana Scholarship Pageant. Michael grew up in Kendallville, IN and currently resides in Fort Wayne with his wife, Lisa and his daughter, Christina.
