Expertise: Over 35 years experience in the structural steel industry, first working in a fabrication plant. In 1972 Mr. Baron found his own company, primarily working on structural steel projects for buildings, large custom homes, bridges, and marine applications. Specialized in large and small turnkey projects including project design conception, sharp drawings for design team review, fabrication and field installation; fabrication of other specialized ferrous metals, including stainless steel; worked with non ferrous metals, including aluminum and bronze. The company was involved in the forming, bending, rolling, shearing, punching, drilling, welding, and bolting of a variety of shapes, hollow sections and plate. Has worked on projects from design development phase through project management coordination, to final completion. Projects include wind tunnel, hotels, college buildings, hospitals, Stanford linear accelerator, bridges, water treatment plants and reservoirs. California Contractors Lic.
