Chase is the victim's father. Chase sexually assaulted the victim more times than she could count. The earliest assault that the victim could remember occurred when she was in the second grade. The victim also recalled an incident that occurred around the same time when she and Chase were in a Hannaford parking lot and engaged in sexual acts, after which he told her to check her underwear for blood.
