Description:
City of Jefferson, Wisconsin, criminal defense lawyer represented the Defendant charged with 14 counts of possession of child pornography.

The charges stemmed from an investigation that was initiated after an agent with the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) downloaded files containing child pornography from a peer-to-peer sharing network. The agent determined that the files came from an IP address that was registered to Ionetz. DCI agents obtained a search warrant for Ionetz’s residence where they seized, among other things, his computer’s hard drive.
Outcome:
The Defendant was found guilty on all counts.
