United States of America v. Aquanis M. Williams a/k/a “Pirate”

From January through May of 2025, Aquani M. Williams, aka Pirate, distributed methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. On May 29, 2025, agents searched Williams’ residence and seized three firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, approximately $4,500 cash, over 700 grams of methamphetamine, over 100 grams of cocaine, and 27 grams of fentanyl. Williams admitted to possessing the firearms and controlled substances and stated that he planned to purchase one kilogram of fentanyl later that day.

Williams has a significant prior criminal record, including three prior convictions for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and a prior conviction for pointing a firearm at a law enforcement officer.

This case was investigated by the Oshkosh Police Department – Vice and Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group – Drug Unit (LWAM), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Milwaukee Police Department, and North Central High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA). It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Alex Duros.

The Defendant was found guilty and was sentenced to 156 months as to counts 2 and 3 to run concurrent with each other for a total term of 156 months; SR: 3 years as to count 2 and 5 years as to count 3 to run concurrent with each other for a total term of 5 years; SA: $200
