Court of Common Pleas - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

MoreLaw Legal News For Philadelphia

Christ Maragos, age 36, claimed that his doctor failed to properly repair a torn posterior cruciate ligament by ignoring damage to the meniscus.

Defendant denied the allegations and claimed that his care care was appropriate. Maragos claimed that he is likely to have to have knee replacement surgery because of the botched surgery on his knee.

Dr. Bradley served as the team doctor for the Pittsburgh Steelers for more than 30 years.

The elements of a personal injury claim are: (1) Failure on the part of the Defendant to exercise due care, (2) damages and/or injuries caused to Plaintiff, and (3) a direct casual relationship between 1 and 2.

A Doctor owes the same duty of care to their patients just like other service providers and failure to exercise due care in the delivery of healthcare services to patients and result in the potential liability to the patient directly caused by substandard healthcare.
