On October 3, 2024, a jury found Defendant Michele Fiore guilty of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and sentencing was scheduled for January 6, 2025. Fiore obtained new counsel a week later, who moved to continue both the sentencing date and the deadline for filing post-trial motions, explaining that she needed time to familiarize herself with the file and review the trial transcripts, which were not yet finalized. The court granted a 60-day extension, continuing the post-trial motion deadline to December 16, 2024, and the sentencing date to March 10, 2025 84 .
